About

Built for people who have been sold this before.

Credit monitoring has a deserved reputation. The pattern is familiar enough to be a genre: a monthly fee, a dashboard of numbers that move without explanation, a notification saying your score dropped, and an upsell where the reason should be.

We started from the opposite end. Not from the number, but from the file underneath it. A score is a derived value — the output of a model run over the records a bureau holds about you. Telling you the output moved, without telling you which record moved, is telling you almost nothing, and it is the easiest product in this category to build.

So this one is built around the comparison. Each pull is stored exactly as it arrived, before any parser reads it. Every later reading is kept beside the original rather than on top of it. The new pull is diffed against the previous one at the level of the individual field, so what surfaces is the account, the field, the value it held before and the value it holds now. A change we report can always be traced back to the bytes it came from.

None of that is a feature list so much as a refusal. It is a refusal to build a product whose central claim cannot be checked by the person paying for it, and a refusal to interrupt you with an alert we cannot explain.

You can get your file from each nationwide bureau yourself, free, every twelve months, and we say so on the homepage, on the product page and in the footer. What you would be paying for here is the schedule, the comparison, and the grading that keeps a balance drifting by eleven dollars from being sent to you as news.
