What the service is
HazeScore is a credit monitoring service. It retrieves your Equifax and Experian reports and scores on a schedule, keeps each pull, compares it field by field against the previous one, grades what changed, and tells you about the changes that matter.
It reports on your file. It does not change what is on it.
What the service is not
This is not credit repair. We do not dispute, remove, or correct anything on a credit report. Nobody may lawfully promise to remove accurate information, and we do not. You can dispute directly with each bureau yourself at no cost. haze dispute pro is a separate company that offers dispute services.
This is not lending. We do not lend, broker or match financing, and we do not offer business credit, tradelines, EIN credit or funding readiness.
Monitoring does not improve a score. We make no prediction about what your score will do, and any service that does is guessing. What you get is knowing what moved and when, early enough to act on it yourself.
Coverage is Equifax and Experian. TransUnion is not included, because our bureau partner's terms do not permit us to store TransUnion data — so it could not be compared against a previous pull or alerted on. This is a restriction in that contract, not a packaging decision: there is no plan, tier or upgrade that adds TransUnion, and nothing you can pay us would. It could change only if that contract changed, and if it ever does we will say so here before claiming the coverage.
Availability, and what we are not selling
HazeScore is not open to the public. The pulling, comparing and alerting described on this site is built, but the data agreement that would let us retrieve real files is not in place.
We are not selling subscriptions and not taking payment for monitoring. If anyone asks you to pay for HazeScore monitoring today, it is not us.
When it opens, pricing will be published on this site before anyone is asked to pay anything, and the terms will be updated with a new version before any charge is made.
Your authorization to pull your file
A consumer report may only be retrieved for a permissible purpose. Here that purpose is your own authorization: by enrolling in monitoring you instruct us to obtain your consumer reports and scores from Equifax and Experian on a recurring schedule, on your behalf, until you tell us to stop.
When you enroll, we record which version of these disclosures you were shown at that moment, so the authorization can be evidenced against the exact text you agreed to rather than against whatever this page says later. The version is at the top of it.
These pulls are requested by you about your own file, and our bureau partner classifies them as soft inquiries: the kind that does not affect a score, and that lenders reviewing your file do not see. That classification is theirs rather than ours, and if it ever changes we will say so here. Withdraw the authorization at any time by cancelling monitoring; pulls stop at the next scheduled tick.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You may only request monitoring of your own credit file — enrolling anyone else, with or without their knowledge, is a misuse of the service and of the bureaus that supply it.
We may suspend or close an account that is used to obtain another person's file, to defraud, or in a way that breaches our agreement with a bureau partner.
Alerts, and what they are worth
Alerts are generated by comparing consecutive pulls. They depend on what the bureaus report and when they report it, and a change that does not appear on a pull cannot be alerted on. Alert delivery depends on email and network services outside our control.
Do not rely on HazeScore as your only protection against identity theft or fraud. It tells you what changed on a file you could also read yourself; it does not prevent anything from happening.
The affiliate program
If you join the affiliate program, referrals through your link are attributed to you. Commission terms are not published yet — there is no subscription to pay a commission on until monitoring opens — and no commission is owed until those terms are published and you accept them. Commissions, once paid, are taxable income and are yours to report.
We may end the program, or your participation in it, at any time. Referrals must not be obtained by spam, by impersonating HazeScore, or by any claim on this page's list of things the service does not do.
Your content and ours
Your data stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you — to retrieve, store, compare and display your file, and to contact you about it.
The site, its software and its brand are ours. You may not copy, scrape or resell them.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or that a pull will always succeed.
Two different kinds of accuracy are worth separating. What a bureau reports about you is between you and that bureau — we pass it on and cannot correct it. How we store, compare and display what they sent is ours: if we show you the wrong figure, mis-compare two pulls, or grade a change wrongly, tell us and we will investigate and correct it where we confirm the error is on our side. Do not read the sentence above as a disclaimer of our own mistakes.
our privacy policy explains how to reach your own file for free.
Nothing here is legal or financial advice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or affects your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Ending it
You may close your account at any time, which withdraws your authorization to pull your file. We may suspend or end the service for a breach of these terms, or if a bureau partner requires it.
Changes
When these terms change in a way that alters what you agreed to, the version at the top of this page changes with them, and the version you accepted stays recorded against your enrollment. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the new version.
